Established in 1925, Doty & Hench has continued to provide quality insurance to businesses and individuals in Central Pennsylvania for over 80 years. Gearhart Herr & Co. bought the agency in 1984 and today we have nine employees in the State College office. Doty and Hench is affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce, the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association and the Builders Association of Central PA. Doty & Hench is proud founding member of the Insurance Alliance of Central Pennsylvania.

The Insurance Alliance of Central Pennsylvania is a collective of premier independent agencies located in the Central, Southeastern, and greater Lehigh Valley regions of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to unite in principle and practice to bring clients within the region the absolute best insurance products and services available. The Alliance became operational January 1, 1997. The member agencies are located throughout The Central, Southeastern and greater Lehigh Valley regions of Pennsylvania.

Human resource skills, such as compliance with regulatory directives and planning are available.
